Roy Johnston TDS is currently seeking a Civil Litigation and Family Law Litigation Associate for our Brandon Office.  This Associate will work with both our civil litigation and family law lawyers on a variety of matters requiring both in-court litigation skills and out of court resolution processes.

We are accepting applications from around the Westman region. The ideal candidate should have some civil litigation and/or family law experience, strong academic qualifications, excellent writing skills and good interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive compensation package for the region.

With over 40 years of service in the Brandon community and ‘Westman’ region, Roy Johnston TDS has built a solid reputation and we intend to continue building on this. Our local team of  lawyers and support staff serve the region out of our full-time Brandon office and our part-time office in Boissevain. These offices provide legal services to primary producers and large farm operations, small and medium-sized businesses, individuals, and larger organizations including financial firms and developers.

Supplemented by our Winnipeg office, our clients have direct access to over 30 areas of the law including taxation, environmental law, business immigration, labour and employment law, complex litigation, intellectual property, aboriginal law, and securities law, as well as connections to reputable (Lex Mundi) law firms in over 100 countries around the world.

Our lawyers have access to a wide range of practice development and practice management tools. James Ripley (Counsel to TDS) provides practice and ethics advice and direction. A full-service marketing department provides internal practice and business development support, and the department works with the Practice Groups to provide frequent continuing professional development opportunities.
