At TDS, paralegals are primarily involved in Corporate-Commercial, Corporate Services and Real Estate work.

Our Corporate-Commercial paralegals assist with activities such as preparing financial services matters, drafting securities documents and registering limited partnerships, as well as tax matters. 

Our Corporate Services paralegals are involved in preparing documents for the registration, organization and maintenance of provincial federal incorporations and limited partnerships. 

Our Real Estate paralegals primarily support the efforts of the Real Estate department and related lawyers at the organization, assisting with the completion of residential real estate transactions, reviewing documents and files prepared by Legal Assistants in the Real Estate department, and meeting with clients to assist in closing processes.

Some of our paralegals have experience in multiple areas and we encourage them to constantly strive to build their skill-sets. 

Team Leads

The add-on role of Team Lead is assignable to a legal assistant or paralegal and is responsible for supervising a Support Services team, which serves a specific area of legal practice.
